Passive Edge wins the Innovation Solution Award at the China-Africa Energy Accelerator
At the China-Africa Energy Innovation Cooperation Accelerator Demo Day in Beijing, our "Solar + Phase Change Cold Storage" cold-chain solution won the Innovation Solution Award for its outstanding field applicability — and was featured in the project's Case Study Report.
On January 16, 2026, the China-Africa Energy Innovation Cooperation Accelerator Demo Day was held in Beijing as the project's closing event. Initiated by the China Renewable Energy Engineering Institute (CREEI) under the China–AU Energy Partnership framework, the project advances "small yet beautiful" clean-energy cooperation between China and Africa. This roadshow was themed "Innovation Empowering, Greening Africa."
During the results-release and awards segment, Passive Edge's "Solar + Phase Change Temperature-Control" cold-chain solution won the organizing committee's Innovation Solution Award for its outstanding field applicability, and was formally included in the China-Africa Energy Innovation Cooperation Accelerator Case Study Report — a collection of six representative cases selected through multiple rounds of review, spanning mature projects and innovative technical solutions.
Addressing the chronic pain points many overseas regions face — power shortages, weak infrastructure, and extreme heat — Passive Edge deeply couples sustainable energy with its proprietary phase change thermal-storage temperature-control technology. The solution eliminates the leakage risk of conventional materials, delivers rapid thermal response, and maintains long-lasting, stable, precise temperature control even with no, limited, or interrupted power.
