Named among POC50 — top 50 startups with strongest proof-of-concept
At the 2023 Global Open Innovation Forum in Shanghai, Passive Edge was recognized on the POC50 list for its exceptional growth and innovation.
On December 12, the 2023 Global Open Innovation Forum — co-organized by Plug and Play China and Tsinghua University’s Technology Innovation Research Center — was held in Shanghai. Passive Edge was recognized on the “POC50 — Top 50 Startups with the Strongest Proof-of-Concept Capabilities” list for its exceptional growth and innovation.
The evaluation committee comprised Prof. Henry W. Chesbrough (father of open innovation), Prof. Chen Jin (Director of Tsinghua’s Technology Innovation Research Center), and Rahim Amidi (Silicon Valley open-innovation practitioner). Companies were assessed across five dimensions: innovation, sustainability, growth, internationalization, and differentiation.
2023 marked the 20th anniversary of open-innovation theory. The POC50 list aims to inspire benchmark examples of open innovation and showcase entrepreneurial products that drive societal innovation forward.
