Passive Edge has officially joined the Quality Association PCM (RAL), becoming a member of the world’s most authoritative organization for phase change material quality.
This is a significant milestone in our quality-assurance journey. Admission to RAL recognizes our commitment to excellence and innovation in the PCM industry. As part of this global community, we will actively contribute to the advancement of PCM standards and collaborate with industry leaders to drive sustainable solutions.
Our core technologies
- UltraST (ultrahoch wärmeleitfähiges formstabiles PCM) — resolves the low thermal conductivity and limited cycle life of traditional PCMs. Zero leakage, zero phase separation, fully fire-retardant. Suited to industrial energy storage, building efficiency, and cold chain logistics.
- MOFPoly (Nano PCM Microcapsules) — first to achieve mass-production-level stability and cost efficiency. Increases cooling-liquid heat-flux density by up to 4×. Applicable to data centers, EVs, energy-storage batteries, textiles, and electronics.
Established in 2004, the association created the RAL-GZ 896 industry standard and earned German RAL recognition in 2006. It currently comprises 14 top global PCM member companies.
